We can not understand what is stamp duty value or what is property value in 26qb. If property value less than market value and tds should be paid in market value how to fill 26qb. please clarify.  for example If Property Value Rs. 59 lakh and market value Rs. 60 lakh so tds should be paid on Rs. 60 lakh. so how to filling the following details:

1) Total Value of Consideration (Property Value)

2) Stamp duty Value for property

3) Total amount paid or credited

4)TDS amount

1. 59 L

2. 60 L

3. Any installment or full value as 59L

4. TDS on the installment amount or on 60L.

If I paid TDS of Rs. 60lac i.e. 60000 but in seller 26as shown 59000, why there was difference

Seller has sold it for 59Lakhs, so the difference.. You can ask for refund of Rs. 1,000/-

Actually I filed a 26qb form with challan. My total value of Consideration (Property Value ) was 60 lac, so I paid TDS on 60 lac i.e. 60000. But Total amount paid or credited was 59 lac. But in 26As of seller shown 59000 instead of 60000. Why is it, although we paid challan of Rs. 60000. and difference amount to whom will be refund. I can not understand

It seems to be new rule adopted by ITD..

As form 26AS of seller is reflecting Rs. 59K, as per sell value of the property; you may claim excess of 1K paid as per form 26qb.

yes, now 26qb form has been changed and now you have to paid TDS either Market value or sell value whichever is higher . That's why we paid 60000 as market value was 60 lac but amount paid to credit or sale value was 59 lac. But we can not understand why 26AS reflected 59000 instead of 60000

Well, you are right at your place, and must have provided form 16B for Rs. 60,000/- to seller.

No specific reason specified for such change by ITD.

Check your form 26AS for the value of TDS deduction u/s. 194IA of the act..
