A director while going to fileDIR-3 KYC, during prescruitny found another DIN active for the PAN.

On verification found that the director had issued 2 DIN at initial stage and appointment with all companies has been filed with newest DIN and Oldest DIN is not associated with any company.

Now please guide if new DIN is surrendered how to Old DIN will be taken into record to update with all company or guide suitably

Also at present to comply with the requirement which DIN needed to be complied with DIR-3 KYC.

once u surrender the new DIN, the old DIN will be mapped with the companies in which such person is director. Try filing kyc with old DIN, if stil issue persists then immediately file DIR-5 for surrender and then file kyc

Can director file DIR-5 of Old DIN which is not associated with any company and retain the DIN which was allotted later and associated with all companies..

Not at all.. DIN which was allotted second time will be surrendered. Oldest DIN is retained. Same clarification is also given on MCA home page

If we file dir -5 nd surrender the new din then .. whether the second company in which the new din was alloted gets replaced with old din or we need to file dir -12 to appoint with old din after surrendering new din???
