In september 2020, My mom was ill. She had been suffering from double nimonia.
Hospital Expenses was paid for this disease around rs. 150000. Out of 150000 , some amount had been paid in cash and some amount, paid through net banking.
Can we get deduction ,under chaper VI-A
for this medical treatment ?
No medical insurance has been taken.
previous years ITR filling had been done but
for the A.Y 21-22 is yet to be filled.
ITR filling has been done in the name of my mother's name , father's name and even on my name also...
Ji, If you claim the Medical Insurance Premium u/s 80 D, Then you cannot claim the medical expenses incurred.
And also the medical expenses are for specified diseases such as Aids, Cancer etc.
