I want to buy items online and then resale the item through my own business sites.
do I need to take registration as e commerce operator or simple retail seller.
what will be the nature of my business.

If You are selling Goods Purchased in your own through online from your website, than you are not required to take e-commerce Registration.

Just take Normal Registration as " Taxpayer"
it's ok .. whether you selected wholesale or retail in form at time Registration.
