Income tax Refund Bank Status

Income Tax  Bank validated but following status shown in Income tax portal

(Refund can be credited only up to <50L> due to name mismatch between Bank account and PAN. Please update the name in PAN or with bank.EVC can be enabled for this bank account.)

But bank account already validated with EVC

It is generally due to mismatch of name in bank like missing surname , use of Kumar , Prasad etc. as middle name or bank account with first name only.

< 50L > what does this mean? 

Even my bank account shows this under remarks.

While filing returns the following are displayed very actively:
1. Bank details
2. Generally bank account is linked always with pan , adhar and mobile
3. While filing returns all steps are followed MINUTELY.

PAN Card must be shown in Bank account you have provided for refund, also name in bank account is required to be exactly matched with PAN.

Immediately write a letter or send a mail to the assessing officer of your ward obviously attaching screen shot and ask for speedy resolution.
If that does not work.
raise grievance.

@ sabyasachi Mukherjee, I don't think so it is required to go to assessing officer . For this details are required to be updated in bank account

My first resolution is write a letter to the Assessing officer.
Bank IFSC code details are always being updated.
A prefix does not work well always.
These errors always happen .

@ amit kadam, @ CA Rashmi Gandhi,  I am facing the same issue. bank account validated but refund not credited into account. there is minor mismatch in bank account and pan card.

Did Your refund get credited or you have updated the bank name as pan card?

Kindly advice.
