i think composition scheme is only for goods
except
restaurant owners
If tiffin is being supplied, shouldn't that be goods? Please clarify

It may be construed as composite or mixed supply which is a service. Therefore no Composite scheme.

Is it mixed or composite? And why would it be a service? In both cases goods supply is possible
someone told me that one can go for composition levy u/s 10 (b)
as a service specified under para 6 (b) of schedule ll please clarify
that's restaurant service

Yes, you may opt for composition as tiffin services are covered under Schedule II Para 6 Part (b).

"(b) supply, by way of or as part of any service or in any other manner whatsoever,
of goods, being food or any other article for human consumption or any drink (other
than alcoholic liquor for human consumption), where such supply or service is for
cash, deferred payment or other valuable consideration."

It is a supply of service and 5% rate shall apply accordingly.

My turnover is less than 20lakh. Which one is beneficial cancel the Gst registration or enter in composition scheme? If i will cancel Gst registration then how will i prove that my firm is exist?

Better keep registration and opt for composition till 75 lakhs. Your consumers will have no problem dealing with you as they will not be subject to reverse charge mechanism.

Composition scheme is painful, unless you are targeting corporate clients.
Dear debi Plz clarify drawbacks of composition scheme. There are corporate clients but they are few.
The main drawback is that as a registered dealer you have to pay RCM but can't take credit. For detailed information just Google and see if it applies
