Fun with maths

Hi Friends, I would like to share something funny abou mathematics,

As we know,

36 Inchs = 1 Yard

Now 36 X 1/4 = 1 X 1/4

Or, 9 = 1/4

Or, Square Roor of 9 = Square Root of  1/4

Or, 3 = 1/2

Therefore, 6 Inchs = 1 Yard

But I already shown you 36 = 1 yard, then how is it possible ?

Good Morning.......................

THE LOGIC ON YOUR QUESTION IS WRONG

SEE THE FOLLOWING

36 INCHES = 1 YARD

TAKE SQUAREROOT ON BOTH ENDS

SQRT (36 INCHES) = SQRT (1 YARD)

6 INCHE = 1 YARD

YOU CAN NEVER COMPARE MEASUREMENTS OF AREA WITH JUST NUMBERS....

When sanjay will go to buy house or office he will accept "6 inches = 1 yard" and pay the price of 1 yard for 6 inch......

We can also make like ths.......

1 Kilometer = 1000 meters

nw taking square root of both the side

1 Km = 31.62 Meters hahahaha..........smiley

and nw you will have to just walk for 31.62 meters for 1 kilometer.......

the basic rule of maths you should first make the same units on both the side and then you can divide and multiply anything to number...smileysmileysmileysmileysmileysmileysmileysmileysmileysmileysmileysmileysmileysmileysmileysmileysmileysmileysmileysmileysmileysmileysmiley

VERY CORRECT!!!!

Hi friends, thank you for your reply. Let me clear that from the beginning I know the logic behind it.I know mathematics is a branch of Pure Science, so there is no chance of any fiction . I post the topic only for humor / fun. This type of problems are called " Paradox".

Dear

Your calculations are ok but you forget the basic of maths i.i while doing sqroot of 36 inches, it should have been 36 sq inches not just single inch. you cann't find out the sqroot of "inch" only

you cannot take logical and exponential operations on different units ;)
