EVC not listed on ITR acknowledgement

Hi,

I verified my ITR1 using bank login to efiling portal. The verification was done and I got an SMS from the department that your ITR has been verified or so. When I download my receipt, I find that there's no EVC number mentioned on the same. It just says EVC generated from digital mode. Is this normal or something is wrong here. A friend of mine actually generated EVC and he got it listed on the receipt. I however opted for efiling loging thru bank account. Thanks
