I received the intimation u/s 143(1) from the Income Tax Department - CPC for the assessment year 2009-10, in which I found that the assessee (Partnership Firm) has not been allowed the deduction u/s 80G of the Income Tax Act and a notice of demand u/s 156 has been served to him.
The reason for this disallowance might be the inclusion of incomplete details of the Donee in the original return filed electronically. To rectify this mistake, I filed the rectification request at the website with uploading the revised xml file with full details of the Donee.
A thing which I want to share that while uploading the rectification request, the option 'Change in Donation Details' was not active and so left.
But after a period of time, I came to notice that the rectification request has been rejected by the CPC.
So now somebody assist me that what could be reason of such rejection and how the said order can be rectified u/s 154.
