there are the following colums in 26AS Form
Name of Detuctor:
TAN of Detuctor:
Amount Paid and Credited
Total tax Detucted
Total tax deposited
Now my question is If the name of the detuctor is a BANK. I see Amount Paid/Credited = 45000/-
But total tax detucted = 0 Total tax deposited = 0.
What does this mean?
Might be due to the receipent had filed form 15g/15h with the bank in respect of non deduction of tds.....!!
Note in this case Dept will catch you if you do not pay self assessment tax later on if your TI is more than basic exemption limit.
