One of the companies filed ADT-1 for appointment of auditor as casual vacancy due to resignation of Previous auditor. EGM was conducted and all proper procedures were followed. In the Adt-1 the period however is shown as 5 years term. I understand that auditor appointed in capacity of casual vacancy can be ratified only in next AGM.
SO my question is, is filing ADT-1 for appointment of auditor for casual vacancy for term of 5 years is right or wrong?

Can we ignore the ADT-1 and in next AGM appoint new auditor for 5 years?
