Ca pratice - specific area or general

Hi everyone..would appreciate if anyone in practice can guide me on this..I want to start my own practice..Is it better to focus on selected areas like Audit or Tax - Direct or something like Transfer pricing or Internal audit or Is it better to be generic in terms of taking up any work that comes on the way...????
