Big 4 or banking

I have qualified in this may first attempt & now searching 4 a job.
I have heard tht Banking & IT Cos initally pays more than big 4 but the growth graph in terms of salary donot match.
It has been said 2 me tht working for 4-5 yrs in big 4 would count much more than banking sector.
So wht to choose banking sector which initally pays more & is growing with economy or Big 4 which initally pays less but offers better salary growth afterwords

Hi manu,

First of all congrats to u. Clearing in 1st attempt is no joke by any means.

I would suggest you look into your area of interest. Is it Auditing or other Service industry?? Both the fields have their pros & cons. The name of Big 4 does make a difference in your CV but not at the cost of your interest. And it is not that Banks pay huge sum early on, it depends upon the right profile you get into.

So think abt your interest from long term perspective and then decide.!!
