Dear Sumit,

Being lazy is all too common. Well I can truly say that I am one of the biggest procastinators. But there is something which I am following for the past some weeks and it has been really effective. Whenever you are feeling lazy you will obviously make up your mind to do it later. At that time... just force yourself to get up and sit in front of the book. Dont strain thinking what you will study or how. Just open the book. Getting started is the biggest hurdle. We dont start cause we think of that hows, whens and all. So just dont think of all that. As in Nike slogan, "Just Do It". Hope this makes sense.

excellent tip... i would like to add..break down your task in to number of meaningful pieces.. and concentrate one at a time.. and club it with the next.. and so on.. you can first of all understand your syllabus and then the topics within... write it down on a paper all the topics to be covered for each subject and finish it slowly..day by day.. make it a habit reading atleast 5 minutes a day and decide you will continue life time even after qualifying as a company secretary... if you have keen interest in what you are doing then concentration will not be a problem.. so to summarise, develop interest in things what you are doing or quit doing those things..otherwise life will be miserable.. secondly, the best way to tackle situations and tasks at hand is to break it into convenient pieces and try one at a time.. best of luck..

Hello Sree,

Very nice tips. I like all your points. Thank you.

Dear Sumit,

I don't know how is with You but there are some tips which each student needs to follow, since we all are humans and we have phisical and mental limitations. As not to copy them just follow what someone has listed in How to concentrate on how-to-concentrate.latestnewsfrom.net. Some are banal but on the other hand seldom followed. At least they work for me. The worst think is that we don't remember to observe what our body tell us and we sometimes want to do more and more.. and we end doing less. Less or at least in small doses but with more focus and in the rythm of our body.

Hope I have helped. Good luck.
