Appointment and Resignation from LLP

Can we appoint and retire the DP at same time?

I am having an LLP in which 2 designated partner are there , I want to remove that 2 DP and appoint 2 new DP can I do this in one time by filing LLP Form 4?

or I need to add first 2 new DP and then remove the old 2DP's.

Quick Summary
This discussion explores the possibility of appointing new Designated Partners (DPs) and simultaneously retiring existing ones in an LLP. The consensus is that these actions cannot be completed in a single step. It's recommended to first appoint and register the new DPs with the authorities before proceeding with the retirement of the old ones. This sequential approach ensures proper documentation and compliance.

Best to do it separately. The existing DP need to have the power to appoint new DP and also sign the form 3 and 4.

If I do it separately then I need to make 2 separate deed, one for admission and one for retirement. That's why I am trying to do this in one time only. Please advise me can i do this in one time? and if i do this in one time only who is going to sign the E-forms? Retiring partner or New appointed DP.

In my view, it is not possible. First 2 people need to be brought in and appointed and intimated to ROC. Only then others can leave.

Same goes for your other question, if done simultaneously it is not possible to sign the form.
