Ao jurisdiction for "transferable-job" people , e-filing

I have been e-filing the return (IT) for the last 6-7 years. My job is “transferable”, thus shifting my residence every 3 years. Was at Mumbai 2005-07. Delhi 07-09 .Now serving at Chandigarh since Aug 2009 .  In the e-returns I always provide the current address as the “address for communication”. Been giving the address of Chandigarh in the latest returns. But on checking my 26AS  I find that address is of Mumbai .

In one return ( e-filed , for AY 11-12 ) IT deptt  has sent email telling me that "ITD-CPC cannot proceed with the e-return filed by you . You should contact the jurisdictional Assessing Officer for processing”. On checking their website I find that my AO (for my PAN no.) is at Mumbai.

(I have sent application to NSDL for change of PAN card address, 5 days back,).

Plz guide me as to:--

1 .What should I do to reslove the above issue of jurisdiction

2. What should we (e-filers, and “transferable-job” people) do to avoid this problem?

With regards
