guys,i request and urge icai to make answer shhets available to the students...
we need transperancy in the system....
there are many cases and worringly increasing these days,abt huge variations of marks from expected to given...
i have nothing against icai,let the correction process be the toughest in the world,but students should have right to see their answer sheets...it leads to much transperant and accountable system...
i need your views in this....
are u want another RTI from ICAI....................Nice thinking but so difficult to get it
most of the students were thinking that icai is doing tough corrections.but this is a wrong view.icai is lenient in corrections only. u are telling that icai should give papers to students.although it amounts to transparency there may be circumstances that icai may be lenient in some papers and evaluators would have given extra marks and in such a case if u say that icai should give papers to students then most of the students will be deprived of that advantage and they would get normal marks.so it is better not to show marks to students.if a student is having view that he wrote his exam better but icai failed him,i kindly request the concerned person to see the suggestion answers of that exam paper and then also he claims icai is failing him, only he has right to blame the institute......hardworks never fails

how do you know that its lenient...
lack of transperancy wil lead to all sorts of specualtion and distrust...
and it should not be linient...it is not good for profession..i hope icai is not linient in correcting papers and it should not be....
in this world of many rights to information,how pity is it and how un professional it is to hide answer sheets...
its like,you went to a doctor,he examined you,later he says,you gonna die,,but he wont tell you reason...
icai's behavior in this sole issue is very disgusting..
i bliv,wateva icai do is good for its students and members,except in this issue..
good or bad,,it shud provide papers to students,i feel firmly...
hey ravi,u are always seeing in one angle.if u ask any CA about evaluations in exams ,they will say that icai is very lenient in evaluating the papers.the reason for failure is due to lack of learning or setting difficult questiion papers and not bcoz of evaluations.

my point is simple.....
like all in other exams' case,a student shuold be able to access his answer sheet..
i am discussing here whether icai evaluates paper liniently or harshly...they have right to do it both ways...
and students have right to see their papers....
its pity tht,ther's no transperancy...in this issue....
the papers valuation is done on the basis of key so there is no point of harsh or lenient correction. all the valuers abide to the key only. but yes the institute can provide the answer papers to the students on request and this will lead to a greater transperancy. by this the students will also stop blaming ICAI for their failure.

u would have got suggestions mostly from failure students.failure students will always blame the institute.if u say that icai should revalue the papers then it is ok.but if u say that icai should give papers to students,although it amounts to transparency, just think why icai is not giving papers.there might be some reason behind it.i have asked the same to my facilties they say that icai is normal in correction and its aim is not to make a deserving student to fail. |

i dint get suggestions from ny one...
its not the point of blaming icai...
all i am asking is we students hav right to see our answer sheets ...
as simple as tht...in ny other exam,thers tht provision...even in civils,cat etc...
i am not here to speculate whether icai corrects papers toughly or loosely or ppl with influence pass/not...they regulate pass percentage,they adopt slashing n all...
my point is strt forward...we shud have right to see our paper as simple as tht..
it really amuses me y icai is playing hide n seek game in this sole issue...
if icai's correction procedure is flawless,how cum there hav been cases of marks improvement in verification for many students these days...
ny system has flaw..its natural...until n unless it isnt transperant,ther's no accountabilitty...
There r two views of your questions one says u r right and other says u r wrong and not with you, But the truth is the person who suffered better knows what have done wrong with him. What I have seen in my life the person who suceed in his life cannot give you favour , Because their views depends on what have done with them If I am lucky I am saying its my hard work But the truth is rickshaw wala is doing much more hardworking than me, what I am trying to say U r alone and u r right u should do whatever you think , you should do whatever your heart says because you know better than us what have done wrong with you, BEST OF LUCK

The topic is very simple. Why ICAI is not giving the corrected answer sheets to students and maintain transparency.
Guys i am not aware of this however can i know the reason why ICAI is not giving the sheets and can it be not claimed under RTI Act for the same.
