His annual salary from Pvt company is 8,00,000

Can assessee treat his agriculture income as business income and take the deduction of agriculture expenses from it?

Quick Summary
This discussion explores whether agricultural income can be treated as presumptive business income for tax purposes. The consensus is that it cannot be considered presumptive business income and should be declared under the 'income from other sources' head. It's also clarified whether to declare gross agricultural income or net income after expenses.

Is it allowed to declare only net income (after deduction of agriculture expense) under head other source or I have to declare gross amount as income ( which I received in my bank account)?
