Depreciation is restricted to the WDV of the Fixed Asset.. but is it the same for additional depreciation as well?
Suppose an asset worth 1l is present in the books as opening FA. A machinery worth 50K is purchased (eligible for additional depn). The FA standing since opening is sold for 1.7l.. so in this case, no additional depn for asset worth 50k purchased during the year?
