Enterprise Information System and Strategic Management CA Inter by Prof. Vishal Atman, The developments in Information Technology and the shift towards a borderless and cashless economy have led to a rise in the number of businesses and their complexity. This warrants the need for an accountant who is not limited to just auditing and accounting but can take strategic decisions and has the relevant IT skills. Paper 7- Enterprise Information System and Strategic Management- is drafted keeping this in mind. The first section of the paper tries to develop an understanding of technology-enabled Information Systems and their impact on enterprise-wide processes and the involved risks and controls. It covers the components of Information Systems, core banking systems, automated business processes, business processes, and their integration with financial and accounting systems. It also covers the industry's emerging developments like e-commerce, m-commerce, and the associated risks and controls.
The second section, Strategic Management, aims to develop an understanding of strategic management techniques and acquire the ability to apply the same in business situations. It covers the dynamics of competitive strategy, the process of strategic management, various corporate, business, and functional level strategies. It also provides an insight into strategy implementation and control. Thus, the entire paper is set keeping in mind the changing business dynamics so that the future CA is better able to serve business Boards.

He had an extensive Exposure in multiple fields of Audit and taxation throughout his internship at various firms and after getting done with his Chartered Accountancy Degree he decided to get into teaching after a small term of working in CAFirms. He is a very Energetic and Extremely Dedicated Teacher Who strongly believes in raising Standards and going Beyond the normal. He explains his subjects in the most lucid manner with most real life examples and case studies that leaves an imprint of the concepts in mind forever. His use of mnemonics, and memory techniques makes things easier. His coverage of syllabus is so comprehensive that there would not be any area he would miss. His books are a very clear reflection of how much effort he puts into giving his students, the best that they deserve. His way of keeping his students highly motivated has given no. of students a clear vision and a new way to discipline themselves and clear their exams. His Students have continuously been scoring exemptions in the past years. He has been giving highly emphasized attention and strength to students who have far been stuck in viscous circle of giving attempts one after other without hope.
