Job Description

Position Summary

This position will involve supporting the Finance team in closing of books and managing the tax compliances.
It’s a unique opportunity to touch all areas of the Finance and Accounting function including, managing month-end accounting and reporting activities, intercompany accounting, assistance in audits, local regulatory reporting and tax processes.
This role is suited for someone eager to learn and develop their knowledge in accounts and tax field.

Responsibilities
• Accountable for posting/reviewing accounting entries in India books
• Review of expense invoices and payment
• Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations and completion of month end reporting
• Calculation of intercompany revenue on a monthly basis
• Assistance in direct & indirect tax compliances
• Preparation of Financial Statement
• Manage external professional service firms on the annual audit process
• Contribute to a continuous improvement and lean mindset by identifying and driving initiatives to add value and improve efficiencies in processes
• Performing other duties as assigned including special projects and analysis on an ad hoc basis

Skills Required

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance
• Inter-CA with at least 2 years of relevant experience
• Strong knowledge of Accounting principles and processes
• Demonstrates highest level of ability in all aspects of communications: written, oral, listening and expressing ideas
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
• Strong computer skills including Excel and previous exposure to an ERP system
• Pro-active and passionate attitude
• Good problem-solving skills
