Enterprise Information System and Strategic Management CA Inter by CA Kunal Agrawal, The developments in Information Technology and the shift towards a borderless and cashless economy have led to a rise in the number of businesses and their complexity. This warrants the need for an accountant who is not limited to just auditing and accounting but can take strategic decisions and has the relevant IT skills. Paper 7- Enterprise Information System and Strategic Management- is drafted keeping this in mind. The first section of the paper tries to develop an understanding of technology-enabled Information Systems and their impact on enterprise-wide processes and the involved risks and controls. It covers the components of Information Systems, core banking systems, automated business processes, business processes, and their integration with financial and accounting systems. It also covers the industry's emerging developments like e-commerce, m-commerce, and the associated risks and controls.
The second section, Strategic Management, aims to develop an understanding of strategic management techniques and acquire the ability to apply the same in business situations. It covers the dynamics of competitive strategy, the process of strategic management, various corporate, business, and functional level strategies. It also provides an insight into strategy implementation and control. Thus, the entire paper is set keeping in mind the changing business dynamics so that the future CA is better able to serve business Boards.

Sir has also secured AIR in CA-CPT exams in 2007 and city highest scorer in Taxation in CA PCC [now known as Intermediate] exams. He is practicing CA and partner in Agrawal Bhandari & Company and looking after taxation matters, ERP consultancy, Audits including IS audits and consultancy for various laws including Company Law, RERA, Benami Transaction etc. CA. Kunal Agrawal sir has keen interest in technology and well-known person as technical expert in CA Community of Udaipur. Apart from practicing as CA, he is also taking classes of ITSM/EIS-SM, ISCA & Taxation. He has also been faculty at various CA Student's conference, Mega Student's Seminar organized by Board of Studies, ICAI.
