We are looking for an Accounting Clerk / Assistant Accountant to perform a variety of accounting, bookkeeping and financial tasks.
Assistant Accountant responsibilities include keeping financial records updated, preparing reports and reconciling bank statements. You will also run accounting software programs (e.g. Excel / Tally / CompuTax) to process business transactions, like accounts payable and receivable, disbursements, expense vouchers and receipts. A successful accounting assistant should have a flair for numbers.
Experience / Knowledge:
0-2 years experience.
Freshers can apply; however, basic accounting and computer data entry knowledge is a must.
You will learn on the job.
Salary:
Starting from INR 8,000 to INR 30,000 per month depending upon merit.
Responsibilities:
Reconcile data entries including sales, purchase, receipts, payments, bank reconciliation statement, and preparation of debtors / creditors statements.
Receiving and processing invoices, expense forms and requests for payments.
Handling petty cash, preparing bills and receipts.
Maintaining accounting records, making copies, filing documents, etc.
