Research Analyst (1-3 yrs)

Job Description

As part of the core team of Quantiphi - an emerging pure play big-data analytics, business research and equity research service organization, the Research Analyst will be part of, and eventually lead analytical projects for a variety of industries including Healthcare, Hospitality, BFSI, CPG and Media. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Gathering relevant data from the public domain that is essential to understand the performance of an industry.

2. Gather company/entity-specific data by way of email, phone discussions with the management team. This will also be supported by documentation about the company that is provided by the client to Quantiphi.

3. Apply the right techniques that are suitable for analysing and grading the perofrmance and the status of the entity under evaluation.

4. Participate in on-site and offshore engagements to deliver services to our client base.

Skills Required

The position will be involved in the development of new capabilities and value added services and will require a high level of creativity, personal drive and deep quantitative subject matter expertise and therefore will offer significant growth opportunities.

1. CA, CFA, MBA Finance, ICWA.

2. Must have excellent aptitude and expertise in quantitative analysis and data mining with expert knowledge of tools such as Excel.

3. Must have a willingness to learn and apply emerging trends in business and equity research.

4. Must have a strong desire to work in an entrepreneurial self-driven and creative environment with minimal supervision and a passion for developing new value added solutions for clients across a variety of industries.

5. Must be willing to travel domestically and internationally.
