Previous employer income

This query is : Resolved

22 December 2014 Dear All,

I have one query. A person had declared high salary as previous income for getting better salary hike in new firm. If he submits previous employer income, his old salary can be retrieved by new employer. And the new salary offered may be redesigned.

This person had payed tax in previous company. If he had not submitted his previous employer income, whether there will be any issue. Or is there any option to solve this problem.

22 December 2014 No problem, file the return including previous income pay taxes and interest if any.

22 December 2014 Thank you so much for quick reply. So what you mean is not to declare previous employer income in new firm and in e-filling I can get the tax paid already as returns rite?
