Non - submission of installation certificate to dgft

13 March 2012 What will be the consequences of non - submission of installation certificate to DGFT on time??

15 March 2012 Refer to TrDE nOTICE nO. 01/AM10 DTD 15.04.2009.

if exporter does not submit it how can import and export done??????

Department will issue SCN against them and also released import duty alongwith interet.

for any query direct RTI letter put up ....


15 March 2012 is there any time limit or due date for submitting installation certificate to DGFT from the point of importer ?




15 March 2012 In terms of Notification Nos. 44/2002 dated 19.04.2002 & 64/2008 dated 09.05.2008, the importer has to produce Installation Certificate duly signed by the Jurisdictional Central Excise Authority (if the importer is not registered with the Central Excise Authority, then by the Chartered Engineer) within the period of six months from the date of import clearance.

ORIGINAL SUBMIT either custom or in DGFT.
