Gst registration

23 April 2017 I have multiple offices in one State. Do I need to get one GST registration since all offices are in one State or shall I go for multiple GST registrations based on no. of offices in the State. If I shall do multiple GST registrations then is it mandatory to have multiple GST registrations or it is my choice to go for one or multiple. I want to highlight again that my all offices are in one State.

24 April 2017 You can declare main office as principal place of business and others as additional place of business and get a single registration for all business premises within the state. However there is concept of vertical registration that comes into the picture when you are dealing in business having different product profile which is having different risk and reward and requires complete separation for better control and accounting. Going for business vertical would pose different problems and administrative issues. Considering all above you can take a decision.

Ultimately if you want single registration for all your business premises in the state, it is possible.
