06 January 2012 If a person is director in multiple co. say 4, then whether he is required to have separate DIN No. for each Co. ?

Thanks:

Raju

06 January 2012 No.

A single DIN is required irrespective of the number of directorship held.

06 January 2012 No, A single DIN shall be enough.

06 January 2012 DIN:Director Identification Number is an independent for an individual, it is nothing to do with the no. of companies

06 January 2012 DIN has a life time validity. One DIN for one person.

06 January 2012 only a single DIN is required for an individual irrespective of number of directorship held by him. all the directorship of an individual would be mapped in the database through that DIN.

07 January 2012 Din is UNIQUE Identification No.
means one number for one person

07 January 2012 Under section 266C no person shall apply, obtain or hold more than one DIN.
