suppose a trading company, as a part of its sale doing some installation services also, for which the company is liable to pay service tax. The company has made some imports from outside India, and has paid huge amount of CVD. Since the company is a trading company and not doing any manufacturing activities, can it avail the credit of CVD?. Can CVD be set off agaist Service Tax Payable..?
