Is it Taxable under capital gain and if yes then at which rate?

28 February 2015 Rural agricultural land situated 8 kms aerially away from municipal limits will be exempted from capital gains tax.

01 March 2015 NRI cannot buy agricultural land, plantation land or a farm house in India. Even he cannot acquire such property as a gift. However there is no bar on inheriting such properties.
If the property is inherited property or bought when he was resident, no capital gains tax will arise.
