This query is : Resolved

03 March 2012 Sir/Madam,
An assessee has rental income.
As per 26AS ,only one Dedutor's details are there, but he has Form16A of other Deductor's also. Which amount will taken as TDS credit as per 26AS or Form16A. What amount he will get as TDS credit. Is there any issue to filing of ITR with the Form16 details?

04 March 2012 Assessee can take the credit of TDS as per Form 16A, and there is not any issue to filing the ITR with Form 16A . All returns are paperless returns. Assessee can approach the deductor to revise the TDS return.

04 March 2012 You have to take credit of all tax deducted from you for which you hold valid tax deduction certificate. In case credit for any tax deducted is not appearing in form 26AS please check form 16A whether it contains your right PAN, if not so ask the deductor to upload a correction statement with your correct PAN details and tax credit would automatically appear in your form 26AS.
