online service tax return for 1-10-11 to 31-3-12

26 May 2013 We have submitted our online Service tax return for Oct - March 2011 on 12-4-2012 and it is rejected by system by given reason premises code is wrong.

later on we submit our Apri-june 2012 and july to sept 2012 service Tax return on time with new premises code and it is accepted by the system.

Now we want to know, Should we require to file our Oct-march 2011 return again and is any penalty is levied toward us and how much as on date

Hence, you will be filed return along with applicable penlty,

No of days from due date Amount
With in 15 days 500/-
with in 30 days 1000/-
More the 30 days 1000/- + every
day 100/- (subject to Maximum of Rs. 20000/-)
As per the above you will pay penalty and filed the return again.
