Hi Sushant Threre is no Doubt that CA PE-II passed students have some/working knowledge in accounts ,tax ,audit and they generally take less time to perform the work assigned to them in Articleship period in comparison to Students Entering the CA through CPT Coure.So they are Definitely the first choice of CA Firms.Moreover Students entering through CPT scheme have less time to devote in articleship because they are busy with their B-COM Exams and PCC Exams during their Artileship period.
CPT Scheme is introduced to attract the Students towards CA who are moving towards MBA course because of long time duration of Earlier CA Course.Besides This there is Huge demend of CAs in india which cannot be met under the old sceme because under the Old Scheme it takes 5 years to complete CA and that to only when all the exams are cleared in first Attempt which is ver Rare.
However CA Firms are still employing meritoriuos CPT passed students and so one should not loose his confidence even if he enters the CA Course though CPT and keeps on trying.
