04 May 2016 Can a CA register his dsc as a responsible person for deducting Tds on income tax website for filing Tds returns of all his clients? Are there any disadvantages of the same?

04 May 2016 It is not advisable. If he is an employee of the entity, he may. But in the capacity of a consultant, he can not. As he is not the 'Person responsible for deduction of tax at source'.
