in the case of transporter...transporter lorry hire charges paid to 2 nd transporter or driver..is it tds return filing compulsory or not.if I hv not file tds retund than kya ho sakta hai

Where ever TDS provision are applicable you are required to file return. For Nil return you need to submit a declaration for non filing of return. For late filing of TDS Return there is a penalty of Rs 200 per day u/s 234E subject to maximum penalty equal to TDS amount involved.
