Tds refund

This query is : Resolved

21 December 2013 if one has paid TDS more than the actual amount for earlier years can the amount be claimed as refund by writing a letter to the Income Tax Authority ? Also give the procedure for claiming refund of the excess amount, Is there any form which we have to fill online to claim the excess amount?

04 January 2014 hii Vaibhav,
I am not able to view the website, but I guess that the page might contain details of form 26B which the deductor has to fill in case excess tds has been deposited. I have been trying to fill this 26B form on tdscpc site but the thing is it is asking to register the dsc which I don't have any idea where to register the DSC on tdscpc site as there is no link for the same.
Please help me out in this.
