Tds over building maintenance charges

20 June 2018 Our company has its office in Mumbai ,this building is registered as a cooperative society .My query is we are paying monthly building maintenance charges for Rs.35000/- with TDS deduction .But Society is not agreeing for the same as saying no TDS will applicable for Cooperative society .Pls.advice.
