Tds on wct in case inter state supply & service.

12 March 2015 I have a question that A contractee taking work contract services in Haryana from contractor of Delhi and deducted TDS on WCT.

On query of contractor contractee replying that contractee is also registered dealer of Delhi as well as Haryana.

What they should deduct Plz explain.

12 March 2015 Works Contract Tax in this case has been properly deducted from the contractor as the tax has to be deposited in Haryana only. Hence the deduction is correct.
