23 October 2009 As per the amendment through Union Budget 2009, no tds is to be deducted on transportation costs wef 1.10.2009. Is it confirmed?

23 October 2009 yes but collect Pan detail Quoted on Bill or Pan Copy.

23 October 2009 Agree with expert, in case of PAN is not available TDS is there and it's applicable only for transport operator of goods carriage.
