Tds on rent and maintenance

27 March 2015 Whether TDS needs to be deducted u/s 194 C on maintenance charges if there are two separate agreements of Rent and maintenance Charges to the same Person. Please provide relevant case law or section for the same.

27 March 2015 Since the 2 different agreements you can deduct 10% for rent u/s.194I and deduct maintenance charges u/s.194C
