We have manufacturing company. We are paying trade discounts,turnover discounts to our dealer. Now this is accounted in General Ledger as Commission/Brokerage.
Pl. let us know whether TDS is applicable on this discounts or not?

05 March 2012 When discount is being accounted as Commission and Brokerage, then TDS is required to be deducted U/s 194H.
