HI I just want to know as according to the new amendnemt no.8 as declared on 1st April,2009 the date for deposit of TDS during the month of march is 7th of april... now what will be the date of deposit of TDS deducted on 31st of march considering the dates of sec. 200(1). thanks....ITS URGENT
As per the amended provision,all sum deducted as per provision of chapter XV11B is to be deposited on or before 31st may if the sum on which tax has been deducted is credited on 31st march.
