the work is executed by firm, and the payment is also made to the firm but the tds deducted and credited to the partner of the firm. it is acceptable as per the income tax act kindly intimate me the same. thanking you

It is not acceptable in income tax as partner and firm both are separate tax entity it is advised to kindly intimate the mistake to payer and got the tds return revise for that purpose.
