13 March 2015 can i get credit if excess tds has been paid..how long and against which tds liability i can set off

13 March 2015 Yeah, definately you can have credit of excess deposit (TDS) but in the same financial year only.

13 March 2015 u can take the excess tds paid as credit for next or any quarter of same year but it cannot be carried forward to next year.

if u have paid excess tds in last quarter of any fy then in such case u must file itr to claim the excess tds paid.
