27 August 2014 IF one person has salary of 5000 rs p.m.
but he does't earn any other income.
then he is under exemption limit. but his employer deduct TDS. IS is right?

27 August 2014 No its not correct. The employer should not deduct any TDS in the given case.

29 August 2014 no employer cannot deduct the tds.

pls check employer are deducting the TDS u/s 194J @ 10%.
