13 July 2014 hello plz ans my question which is confusing me case is mr.a is salaried employee and now his employer don't deduct tds from his salary as he is non auditable but my question is that how do employer knows that he cant judge only from salary income he might be having other income also like under head ifos....so my question is no. 1 ..to deduct tds depends on auditability base or exemption limit of 200000 based (now 250000)... rahul

13 July 2014 For income other than salary and investments employer need to take a declaration from employee.

TDS from salary required to be deducted if whether audit Tax Audit apllicable or not.

17 July 2014 but what if declartion form 15 g is fakely issued by deductee and employer dont deduct tds from salary then ??

17 July 2014 15G not applicable for Salary Income. You only need to see whether his income is taxable or not considering the applicable slab rates (2.5 lacs from FY 2014-15). If income is taxable then you need to deduct TDS otherwise not. Make calculation after taking investment and other declaration from employee under his/her signature.

18 August 2014 hello sir means should we deduct tds on salary of employee after considering GTI i.e we have to ask him/her for all the incomes
