In case of income from salary, any expenditure towards reimbursement of medical expenses of employee is exempt upto Rs. 15,000 for each employee.
Hence, expenditure 15,000 - taxable in employee's hands.
Only the amount exceeding 15,00 is taxable and not the entire amount.
