22 August 2011 Can TAX Audit be done in individual name without registering the proprietary concern with CA institute

22 August 2011 Yes. It can be done in individual name if the CA is practising in his individual name. If he has a registered proprietary concern then it is advisable to follow only one method either individual or firm. If he uses both he will confuse himself and may end up with not being full time in the firms records with Institute. This could lead to loss of eligibility for bank audits etc.

22 August 2011 Yes they can be done.

But you need to hold COP for that.
