I want to ask about STRIDHAN that how much gold can a woman show as his stridhan, any specific limit or what? How it will be treated as investment or other head in balance sheet? What is taxability at the time of selling it? Any specific section in IT act about stridhan?

01 August 2015 If i dont have anything except my words to support my stridhan that i received this on my marriage and occasions and on partition in late time say 20 years before. Will it be ok for ITO ? If not then what should be the next step ?
