Experts please help me. I have completed B.Com and I have converted to direct entry to IPCC from CPT mode of IPCC. Now as per the latest notification by the ICAI the student who converts from CPT mode of IPCC to direct entry scheme and has completed 8 months of study period in former mode than he can appear in immediate next exam after conversion and 9 months of articleship is not prerequisite for appearing in exam.
Now my attempt for IPCC would be in November 2016 and therefore till that time I want to join articleship on dummy basis.
Thereafter I'll join regular office for remaining period of articleship. Should I go for such an option?
Please help on this matter.

dummy articleship will affect your learning experience in terms of opportunities lost. It is also prohibited by ICAI regulations. Passing CA without articleship experience will take you no where. Even if the time is for 6 months, as a CA having experienced the student life in article ship, I strongly urge you take up article ship after you write IPCC exams

Get rid of the thoughts on Dummy Articleship, it will not help you in any way.
Instead contemplate joining a CA firm, where you are likely to pursue your articleship. By this time you will get to know the kind of work exposure and work culture prevailing in your office.

Thank-you for your help and advice on my query. But by dummy I didn't mean the other way round. What I meant to say was that I am unable to spare time for the studies after joining the office. As I am yet in CA Intermediate the practical exposure would not help me out for the Intermediate course. No doubt the work exposure that I will get will always help me. But as of now my aim is to clear IPCC. If proper time is not available to study then again I need to go for second time ( hope it shall not happen).
And if start my articleship lately then it would affect my CA Final attempt as I have converted to the Direct Entry Scheme.
Because of this I am in dilemma. Other I too would never go for dummy articleship. Please help me out on this matter what can I do in this situation and how could I manage Articleship as well as the Course.

Very unfortunate to see most students only intention these days is to pass the exam but don't want to understand the true practical world. I can only say, if one sees clearing the exam is the only or main priority then the CA qualification one obtains will really throw you tough questions about life at later point in time. Please take this message in the right and positive spirit.
